Why donate to TDDT?
TDDT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing the arts of Chinese dragon and lion dance through performance, education, and community outreach. All our performers, officers, and directors are unpaid volunteers and, in accordance with our bylaws, receive no compensation from TDDT.
Your support helps us bring these traditions to schools, festivals, and events across Central Texas at little or no cost.
In calendar year 2025, TDDT waived our base rate to perform at over 50 school events.
Your contribution will help to cover:
- Equipment – Most of which is hand-made and imported from overseas.
- Fuel – For both our vehicles and our performers.
- Training – In addition to our own training, we regularly host seminars by subject matter experts.
- Transportation – Getting all of our equipment and performers to performances.
