The Texas Dragon Dance Team, a UT organization, performed the Dragon Lion Dance. The dance scares away evil spirits, according to legend.
“We want to spread the arts to our community and others,” said Nhan Nguyen, mathematics senior and TDDT leader. “Even though it’s traditionally a Chinese dance, we want to make it so it is for everyone.”
